Abstract: 

This paper focuses on Projective Riemann quadratic (PR-quadratic) Finsler metrics, which are a variant of the Finsler metric in Finsler geometry. The paper introduces a special class of PR-quadratic Finsler metrics, called SPR-quadratic Finsler metrics, which is closed under projective changes with respect to a fixed volume form on M. This class contains the class of Douglas-Weyl metrics and is a subset of the class of Weyl metrics. The paper shows that any SPR-quadratic Finsler metric has a scalar flag curvature and a PR-quadratic Finsler metric has a scalar curvature if and only if it is of SPR-quadratic type. The results presented in this paper contribute to a deeper understanding of the behavior of PR-quadratic Finsler metrics and provide insights into the geometric properties of these metrics.

Abstract: 

IN THIS PAPER WE STUDY MINIMIZING THE RATIO OF TWO INDEFINITE QUADRATIC FUNCTIONS SUBJECT TO A STRICTLY CONVEX QUADRATIC CONSTRAINT. USING THE DINKELBACH IDEA, A GENERALIZED NEWTON METHOD IS DEVELOPED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. IT REQUIRES SOLVING A NONCONVEX QUADRATIC OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM AT EACH ITERATION. TO SOLVE THE QUADRATIC MINIMIZATION PROBLEMS A DIAGONALIZATION SCHEME IS PROPOSED. OUR PRELIMINARY NUMERICAL EXPERIMENTS SHOW THAT THE NEW SCHEME IS EXTREMELY FASTER IN COMPARISON TO THE KNOWN SEMIDEFINITE OPTIMIZATION (SDO) APPROACH ON FINDING THE GLOBAL OPTIMAL SOLUTION.

Abstract: 

In this paper we shall examine the quadratic Fourier transform which is introduced by the generalized quadratic function for one order parameter in the ordinary Fourier transform. This will be done by analyzing corresponding six subcases of the quadratic Fourier transform within a reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces framework.

Abstract: 

Non-cooperative intelligent control agents (ICAs) with dedicated cost functions, can lead the system to poor performance and in some cases, closed-loop instability. A robust solution to this challenge is to place the ICAs at the feedback Nash equilibrium point (FNEP) of the differential game between them. This paper introduces the designation of a robust decentralized infinite horizon LQR control system based on the FNEP for a linear time-invariant system. For this purpose, two control strategies are defined. The first one is a centralized infinite horizon LQR (CIHLQR) problem (i.e. a supervisory problem), and the second one is a decentralized control problem (i.e. an infinite horizon linear-quadratic differential game). Then, while examining the optimal solution of each of the above strategies on the performance of the other, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the equivalence of the two problems are presented. In the absence of the conditions, by using the least-squares error criterion, an approximated CIHLQR controller is presented. It is shown that the theorems could be extended from a two-agent control system to a multi-agent system. Finally, the results are evaluated using the simulation results of a Two-Area non-reheat power system.

Abstract: 

In this research, in order to investigate the effect of the piezoelectric patch which is used as a sensor or actuator in rotating flexible structures such as a helicopter blade, the free vibrations of the rotating rectangular sheet with and without the piezoelectric patch have been presented. First-order shear deformation theory is considered for plate displacement and piezoelectric field. Considering the effect of Coriolis acceleration, centrifugal acceleration and centrifugal in-plane forces, the equations of motion are derived from Hamilton's principle and the electromechanical couple equation is obtained from Maxwell's equation. For piezoelectric, two electrical conditions, open circuit and closed circuit, which are used in sensors and actuators, respectively, have been considered. The equations are discretized with the help of the numerical method of generalized differential squares and the matrices of inertia mass, eccentricity, Coriolis and stiffness matrix are obtained. Natural frequency values for beam and rotating plate have been compared in Abaqus software. Also, the values obtained from the numerical solution in MATLAB have been verified with articles and ABAQUS, which have high accuracy. The effect of parameters such as hub radius, rotation speed, sheet thickness, aspect ratio, piezoelectric patch thickness and applied voltage on the natural frequency of the system has also been investigated.

In this paper, we solve the quadratic -functional equations 2f(x) + 2f(y) = f(x + y) + 􀀀 2f( (x 􀀀 y)); (0. 1) where is a xed non-Archimedean number with 􀀀 2 6= 3. Using the xed point method and the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the functional equation (0. 1) in non-Archimedean Banach spaces.
